Hello there everyone
Thanks for all your messages. Yes, I have arrived safe and sound here in Bogota. In fact, given that it is now Sunday night you could say that I am well established now, having been here since Friday afternoon. Alex{s family are being more than hospitable, don{t know what they make of this strange creature who has turned up at their house without even the common decency to be able to speak their language. I seem to have left what little Spanish I did know at Heathrow airport.
I have had a tour of the city, met the family (twice) and been up a mountain today. PLans are being made around me though I am the most vague about what the details might be. Bogota is pretty cool, it reminds me of almost everywhere that I have been before, weirdly. Parts of it are a lot like being back in Korea but no one is looking at me at all.. no attention at all! Weird
Right better go before the connection goes again, yes Alex I am using your computer and your mum is showing me your baby photos!
