You know what? Having lived in the US for 4 years I wouldn't have seen anything funny in that picture without prior warning.
I suppose it's just one more reason why I may not be the coolest kid in my family anymore.
Rory, isn't it time you got tanked up and tried to call me again?
I won't deny that Mike did look particularly American that day, and I have been trying to encourage a different shoe style and colour of sock for a while. However he doesn't look like the retard he looks like in that picture. He is totally gorgeous.
